The ChattanooGuys is comprised of Delta blues musician Lon Eldridge, virtuoso Appalachian dulcimer player Butch Ross, and John Prine-inspired singer/songwriter Richard Daigle. The ChattanooGuys bring smiles to faces with original songs about a monkey and his victrola or a getaway by becoming a squirrel for a day or an instrumental of Stairway to Heaven which leaves an audience saying "I didn't think you could do that with a dulcimer." The New Orleans-born Daigle had the idea for this road trip so he could export the richness and diversity of Chattanooga music and enjoy a po-boy or two and some boiled crawfish on the Gulf Coast. This is the inaugural tour for the group.
