Grass Garden Inversion is the suspension of locally sourced bamboo from high tension cables spanning the alley. The lower portion of bamboo hangs freely producing movement and sound. Creating a gathering spot unlike any other, added lighting will creates dynamic shadowing at night.
Passageways is a joint project of AIA Tennessee and River City Company. Activating the urban alley through architecture, four Downtown Chattanooga alleys have been transformed with imaginative art installations. Unveiled in August 2016, these installations will be up for one year and will host a variety of community programming.
