River City Company President and CEO, Kim White, lives and breathes Downtown Chattanooga. Not only does she talk the talk about how fantastic this city is, she walks the walk working, living and playing in the heart of the city.

A Chattanooga native, Kim had a successful 16 year career with Fortune 500 Company, ALLTEL Communications, working throughout the southeast. After returning to Chattanooga in 2003, Kim served as president and CEO of the Corker Group managing and leasing over 2 million square feet of real estate before taking the top role at River City Company in 2009.

Kim loves her alma mater, the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, where she has remained involved and active. In addition to being a past president of the UTC Alumni Board and the Chancellor’s Roundtable, she currently serves the university as the chair of the UC Foundation along with past service on the UT Foundation’s Executive Committee, chair of its real estate committee and service on the UT Board of Governors.

A board member of the Enterprise Center, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chattanooga Rotary Club, Kim has many previous board appointments include serving on the Erlanger Hospital Authority. Receiving many leadership distinctions and awards during her professional career, Kim was honored with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s 2015 Outstanding Service Award and named one of Chattanooga’s Top 10 Business Influencer’s in 2016. Most recently, she was recognized as one of the 100 most significant alumni in the history of the University of Tennessee system and appointed to the UT Board of Trustees in 2018. 

Her community work, in addition to her career path, have helped shape her vision on how to best move our city forward.
