Busy Summer in Miller Park and Plaza

Co-working days, a weekly farmer's market, free family friendly film series, complimentary workout classes and Friday music - Miller Park and Plaza are packed with fun summer events for you.

 

First, Basecamp - powered by EPB Fiber Optics, is coming up on Wednesday, July 10. A full day of fun and coworking, start your day with 1 Million Cups where local entrepreneurs meet and present their startups to peers and other founders in Chattanooga. From 10am-4pm, it's coworking and BYOW (bring your own work) with free breakfast and coffee from Milk & Honey Coffee Bar at Community Pie. At noon, The Lunchbox hosted by The Enterprise Center will take place in the plaza along with a 2 O'Clock Pick Me Up Treat from Pinkberry Chattanooga. It's summer so that means it's Nightfall time! Don't miss the music every Friday night starting at 7pm. See the weekly lineup here.  

 

And summer means, it's time to double down on your fitness routine. City Sweat is happening on Thursday, July 11 with an all levels, complimentary dance workout led by Emily Johnson of HYPE Fitness starting at 6pm. RSVP on Facebook here

Last, the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, Rise Chattanooga and the City of Chattanooga's Office of Multicultural Affairs are hosting an African American Family Film Series in Miller Park. Don't miss this Thursday's (6/27) screening of - The Wiz as Miller Park morphs into the Emerald City. Dress as your favorite character, sing along and win a prize! This film series is open to everyone, and the event begins at 8:30pm. RSVP on Facebook here
