A major upgrade began in October 2003 to revamp this historic downtown hotel.  Improvements included the addition of a Porter’s Steakhouse and Starbuck’s Coffee Shop and a new indoor swimming pool.  General common area and room upgrades were made throughout including the addition of new furniture, linens and lighting.  Every room includes internet access.  Work was completed September 2004.
