Once called the “Jewel of the South”, the Tivoli Theater has been at the center of Chattanooga’s cultural scene for over 80 years. Built in 1921 at a cost of $1 million, it was completely renovated and expanded in 1989 at a cost of $7 million. The Tivoli’s 1,762 seats make it an intimate choice for musical and theater productions. The Tivoli Theater is the home of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera.
The Tivoli Theater combines the best of the 1920’s movie palace elegance with twenty-first century state-of-the-art facilities and technology.
