This four-story, 76-suite extended stay hotel was specifically designed for the Ross’s Landing District creating an urban pioneering prototype for this hotel type. The floor plan, materials and design are unique in the Marriott system. The new hotel opened in July 1996.
The Marriott Residence Inn was the first hotel to be built in downtown Chattanooga since 1985. With a downtown location directly across the street from the Tennessee Aquarium and next door to the IMAX 3D Theater, and a focus on long-term stay, the hotel is attractive to people doing business with Chattanooga companies, to families, and to visitors.
