Abandoned for a decade, the historic Grand Hotel was renovated in 1998 by Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Inc. The five-story building now contains 36 one-bedroom units and commercial space on the ground floor. The Apartments at the Grand are located at 1401 Market Street in the Southside.
This project utilized both historic and low income housing tax credits.
