This 28,000 square foot building was purchased in 1986 by the RiverCity Company. The structure was built in 1920s and originally was used to house and repair the electric trolleys that carried passengers throughout the city. The RiverCity Company added a new roof system, upgraded the utility services, added new windows and doors, and cleared the site environmentally. One half of the complex was sold to Big River Grille and Brewery Works in 1992. The remainder was sold to them in 1994. Other tenants now include a Burger King, Thai Smile 3 Restaurant and Rhythm and Brews, a live music venue. The building's 27-foot ceilings and red brick walls offer a spectacular setting for these new businesses.
