City Hall is a historic structure constructed in 1908. In addition to the Mayor’s office, it once served as home for several City departments including Engineering, Planning, Building Department, etc. that were relocated to the new Development Resource Center as a result of needing additional space. The historic structure needs mechanical and electrical upgrades in addition to architectural renovation and restoration to become a more sustainable building. The $9,000,000 project will provide greater accessibility and security for the new Mayor’s office in addition to renewed space for the relocation of certain City services. The single-pane exterior windows that were installed in the 60’s will be replaced with more energy-efficient windows to replicate the original windows, while the other exterior components of the building façade will be cleaned and repaired.
