Biography
As River City Company’s Retail Recruiter, Blair Waddell is responsible for recruiting potential retailers to the downtown area. By telling Chattanooga’s unique story and the great opportunities downtown has to offer, Waddell works to fill in downtown’s missing gaps with quality retailers that will add to the vibrancy of the city. Working as a match-maker of sorts, Waddell cultivates relationships with area brokers, realtors, land owners and potential retailers in order to aid downtown development. Waddell joined River City Company from CreateHere, where she played a decisive part in the successful community visioning project, STAND. A graduate of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce program Leadership Chattanooga, Waddell is also involved in the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC), The Nightingale Network of The Women’s Foundation, and Junior League of Chattanooga. Waddell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Wofford College.
